What is Monarch Camp?

Monarch Camp is for adults age 16 and up with intellectual disabilities. These wonderful weeks offer campers a chance to participate in crafts, nature classes, Bible study, music, swimming, campfires, and all sorts of other fun activities on option day and as part of evening activities. Our counselors are NOT specially trained professionals and we are therefore not able to accommodate individuals with behavioral issues. Because of camp’s rustic environment and natural setting, we are only able to accept individuals who can transport themselves without the assistance of wheelchairs, crutches, or walkers. Campers must be able to move from activity to activity without much difficulty at a reasonable pace.
