The North Lodge at Camp Swatara opened its doors in February of 1999 making it our newest retreat center. It provides a natural, relaxed, and prayerful atmosphere for retreats, seminars, meetings, leadership trainings, and more, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The North Lodge is available for retreats during the fall, winter, and spring months (Sept. 1-May 31). During the summer months it serves as Camp Swatara's infirmary for the resident camping program.
If you prefer a more rustic setting, a variety of cabins are available in the West Area. Currently the West Area is home to 4 winterized double cabins (up to 18 people) 1 winterized single cabin (up to 8 people) and 2 non-winterized cabins. All cabins provide bunk bed style sleeping. The 4 large winterized cabins are equipped with bathrooms and showers, are handicapped accessible, and are available in the winter, spring, and fall.
