Make plans now to join other bird watching enthusiasts for a weekend of birding along the New Jersey Shore. Our first stop will be the wetlands at Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge near Brigantine NJ. This is a major water and shorebird stop along the coastal Flyway. All day Saturday and Sunday morning will be spent touring sites in the Cape May area, including the famous Hawk Watch at Cape May Point Park. We will play close attention for late migrants and vagrants. Cape May is famous as a migrant stop as birds hesitate to cross the Delaware Bay at this point. We will return to the camp Sunday afternoon.
