Winterized Double Cabin

If you prefer a more rustic setting, a variety of cabins are available in the West Area.  Currently the West Area is home to 4 winterized double cabins (up to 18 people) 1 winterized single cabin (up to 8 people) and 2 non-winterized cabins.  All cabins provide bunk bed style sleeping.  The 4 large winterized cabins are equipped with bathrooms and showers, are handicapped accessible, and are available in the winter, spring, and fall.  Non-winterized cabins are available in the spring and fall.  Bathrooms are available in the West Lodge for these seasonal cabins.

• Two meeting rooms; one complete with tables and the other with lounge furnishings and a fireplace.

• Four dormitory rooms; two with two bunk beds each and two with 6 bunk beds each.

An ample porch, large meeting room, kitchen and beautiful forest views highlight the West Lodge building.  Available in winter, spring and fall, this winterized facility is an ideal place for medium and large retreats and conferences.

The West Lodge at Camp Swatara Contains:

• One large meeting room
• Large kitchen stocked with utensils
• Indoor rest rooms with private showers
• Two smaller meeting rooms (each has 3 bunks for back up lodging)
• Bunk beds to sleep 6 in each room
