The three weekend camps are listed below in chronological order. 

GOOD TO GIVE - March 5-7

Grades 5-6

Where? Camp Swatara East Area Lodge and Cabins

When? March 5-7, 2010: Registration begins at 7 pm Friday evening and camper pick up will be at 1 pm Sunday afternoon.

How Much? The full registration fee is $65 per camper.  This fee can be paid when you mail in your registration form.  Please make checks payable to Camp Swatara.

Campers will experience the best of camp before the summer begins! This weekend offers the opportunity to have fun, meet friends and get a sneak peek at the Bible lessons for the summer. Arts and Crafts, nature, singing, a campfire and Bible time will complete the weekend festivities.

During their stay, campers will get a preview into this summer's theme, "Be a Hero," and learn how ordinary people can make an extraordinary difference by following Jesus and being a hero for God. Campers will hear the story of the widow in the temple (Luke 21:1-3) and be inspired by her sacrifice to go and do likewise.

FRIENDS TO THE END - March 12-14

Campers will learn what it means to be a true friend as class themes and activities for this camp will revolve around the friendship of David and Jonathan as told in I Samuel 20:1-42.

5,000 FULL - March 19-20 (an overnight camp)

Grades 1-2

When? March 19-20, 2010: Registration begins at 7 pm on Friday and camper pick up is at 7 pm on Saturday evening.

How much? The full registration fee is $34 per camper.  This fee can be paid when you mail in your registration form.  Please make checks payable to Camp Swatara.

This one-night stay is the perfect opportunity for younger children to experience the joys of camping. They will be able to participate in arts and crafts, nature and Bible exploration. Games, a campfire, and fun with friends make for a wonderful time for those who are new to camp!

During their stay, campers will get a preview into this summer's theme, "Be a Hero," and learn how ordinary people can make an extraordinary difference by following Jesus and being a hero for God. Class themes and activities for this camp will revolve around the miracle that took place in John 6:1-15, when Jesus used a boy's two fish and five barley loaves to feed 5,000 people.
