Camp Scholarships or Camperships are available in several ways. As you peruse the camp website, you will find that for each camp, two camp fees are listed. The first fee is a lower fee offered to campers from the Atlantic Northeast District Church of the Brethren and ABCOPAD (American Baptist Churches). These two entities support Camp Swatara financially and make it possible for us to offer the reduced rate to them. Many individual churches also aid their campers in attending camp.

In addition to these reduced rates for certain campers, we offer a Campership program to ALL campers who would like to attend camp. We want to make sure each individual who would like to attend camp is able to do so, regardless of finances. To be eligible for a Campership, a camper must be interested in attending camp and contact the administrative offices of Camp Swatara. A letter written by a parent, guardian or pastor would be the most appropriate way to apply for a Campership. Please be sure to indicate the level of financial support that is needed and mail the request for a Campership with the registration form. If this is not possible, please contact the offices to discuss other options.

Camp Swatara also works cooperatively with the following churches, groups and organizations to provide the resources to make camp attendance possible for many children:
